Jalsa Salana Western Canada 2018 took place on 25-26, 2018 at Genesis Centre Calgary, AB. 24 members of Indigenous Community attended Jalsa Salana Western Canada 2018.
For the first time, Indigenous prayer at the convention was performed by Spiritual Elder Brian little, Chief of Siksika First Nation.
Indigenous guests who addressed the audience were Warren Crowchild on behalf of Chief Lee Crowchild, Chief Jason Goodstriker, Chief Doris bill, Councilor Dustin Fidler, Dr. Gwen Point and Honorable Steven Point.
In addition to the Convention, many Indigenous guests were also given a tour of Bait-un-Nur Mosque in Calgary, AB. Guests representing Indigenous Community travelled from Saskatoon, BC, and Alberta.
