Members of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Peterborough, Durham and Markham region visited the Mohawk of Tyendinaga First Nation Indigenous Reserve near Bay of Quint on October 23, 2020. The delgates of AMJ were meet with Niki, clan mother of House Turtle. The first descends of this Mohawk Nation arrived in 1784 from New York – only 20 families arrived and today they have around 1900+ population.
